We are looking for a Project Engineer with a technical focus for an authority within the transport sector.

This is a consultancy assignment. The location is Stockholm.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork skills.

The Assignment

We are seeking a Project Engineer with a technical focus for investment projects within railway and track infrastructure. The role involves supporting project management and design management throughout the entire project lifecycle, as well as independently planning, coordinating, and following up on administrative and technical project processes. The work includes, among other things, requirement and change management, technical coordination, document control, project follow-up, and the preparation of decision support materials.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for access structures, information management, and document control in Avima, as well as coordinating review processes in Bluebeam.
• Support project management with status reporting in Antura and ensure compliance with the project's routines, processes, and working methods.
• Handle, prioritize, and follow up on change requests, technical deviations, change orders, and requirement management in Polarion.
• Perform cost tracking, provide financial support, and prepare cost estimates for the project.
• Plan and coordinate project activities and prepare materials for meetings, workshops, and steering group decisions.
• Develop analyses, service opinions, consultation responses, and other qualified decision support documents.
• Responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and following up on deliveries, and identifying and proposing corrective actions.
• Provide methodological support to project and construction management within project control, administration, and requirement management.

Requirements (OBS, mandatory)

• You have participated in at least two (2) procurement processes as a client-side project engineer in the public sector (LUF/LOU) with contract forms AB/ABK/ABT.
• You must have at least four (4) years of experience as a project engineer/contracting engineer in projects where the coordination responsibility lay within the project organization with more than two parties.
• You must have at least three (3) years of experience working with and/or documenting requirement management in one of the commonly used requirement management tools on the market.
• In the role of project engineer/contracting engineer, you must have supported construction management in two (2) projects with the review of technical and economic documentation and ÄTA (Additional Work/Extra Work) management.
• You must have knowledge of administering, documenting, and delivering meeting minutes, contract documents, and decision documents in at least two (2) projects during the last six (6) years.
• Engineer education (2 years) / Higher Vocational Education (YH) in Electric Power or Railway, or equivalent work experience of 5 years.
• You must express yourself fluently in professional Swedish, both orally and in writing.
• You have very good knowledge of the MS Office package.

Meritorious

• You should have at least two (2) years of experience with change requests and technical deviations in the requirement management tool Polarion.
• You have worked in/administered Bluebeam or a similar tool in at least two projects.
