Your Role

As an assistant nurse here, you will work together with your colleagues to provide each person with safe, individualized, and high-quality care based on approved services. Your tasks include, but are not limited to, personal care, hygiene, laundry, cleaning, and social activities. It is important that you see the person behind the needs and contribute to a meaningful daily life characterized by respect, participation, and warmth.

Working hours are scheduled for day and evening shifts on weekdays and every other weekend. The position also includes so-called resource tours, meaning that you may work at nearby units when needed. This creates flexibility, strengthens cooperation between units, and contributes to safe and sustainable staffing.

Description of the Workplace

Åsgården is a care and nursing home with a total of 57 places, distributed across three group homes for people with dementia. There is also a short-term care unit with 12 places.

We are now looking for employees for Kullen, which is a group home for people with dementia.

The different units of the operation collaborate closely, creating good conditions for both safe and quality care and a supportive and positive work climate.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained assistant nurse and who want to make a difference in people's daily lives through professional and committed work. It is an advantage if you have experience in dementia care as well as knowledge of BPSD and person-centered approaches. Further education in the field of dementia is also seen as an advantage. In the role, attitude, patience, and the ability to create security for the residents are of great importance.

As a person, you are secure, stable, and have good self-insight. You build trusting relationships and have the ability to distinguish between the personal and professional in your work. You adapt your approach to the situation and individual, and you meet people with respect, sensitivity, and care.

You thrive in collaboration and contribute to a positive work climate by communicating clearly and smoothly with both colleagues, residents, and relatives. You are proactive, see opportunities for development, and are happy to contribute new ideas and perspectives to the operation.

Documentation and reporting are an important part of the job. Therefore, you need to have basic computer skills and good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
