About Lillängen
Lillängen is a modern and homely residence in Nacka for the elderly with somatic or cognitive illnesses. We are close to both the city and green areas, and there are good transport links here. We offer individually adapted care with heart, integrity, and choice.
About the role
You work in a team together with physiotherapists, nurses, and care staff, and your task is to provide quality of life. You see every individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs.
In the role of occupational therapist, you find, together with the residents, the best ways to use their own abilities in everyday life. You support and motivate people to develop, maintain, or compensate for their physical, cognitive, and social abilities. This often involves:
- being an important part of the team around each resident
- making assessments and adapting the everyday environment
- testing and prescribing physical and cognitive aids
- supervising your colleagues in rehabilitative efforts, approaches, transfer techniques, etc.
- having contact with the residents' relatives
Welcome to our world!
At Vardaga, the goal is clear: We want to make the world a little better, one person at a time. Our culture is permeated by the values of respect, simplicity, responsibility, and knowledge – and it makes us all pull in the same direction. Here you can read about our value-based work (#).

We believe that you who apply to us:
- are attracted by a varied job that requires extensive knowledge of care and support
- are passionate about adapting life for people to maintain abilities as far as possible
- enjoy meeting people in different situations
- are independent and responsible, can make own assessments, and dare to think for yourself
- have a pedagogical approach and enjoy working in teams as well as supporting your colleagues
You are a licensed occupational therapist, and we would like you to have a few years of experience in elderly care. You have good computer skills and experience with documentation. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
