About Us

Crisis Centre Central Scania is a counseling centre for adults and children working with domestic violence. The operation is conducted in collaboration and serves the municipalities of Lund, Eslöv, Staffanstorp, Kävlinge, Burlöv, Höör, and Lomma.

The centre's mission is to provide crisis, support, and treatment work for victims of violence, perpetrators, and children who have experienced violence. The counselling centre employs 10 therapists and one unit manager.

Job Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this advertised position consist of treatment work with children and young people who have experienced violence, as well as crisis, counseling, and treatment work for adults who have been subjected to domestic violence. The work is primarily conducted through individual conversations. The role also involves collaboration with other authorities and actors.

We Are Looking For

We are looking for you who are a social worker or have another university education that the employer deems equivalent. We would prefer that you have completed a basic psychotherapy education (equivalent to step 1).

You should have experience in meeting people in severe crises and be accustomed to conducting conversations about traumatic experiences. It is an advantage if you have experience in psychosocial change and treatment work with children and adults, for example as a family therapist or counselor, and experience working with domestic violence.

It is of great importance that you have good self-awareness, personal maturity, and a stable social situation. To thrive with us, it is vital that you have good collaboration skills, are proactive, and are open to shifting perspectives when needed.

The role involves independent work, but it is equally important to share experiences with your closest colleagues in supervision and team meetings for learning and development without hierarchy. You see opportunities in change and contribute to the development of the operation through your interest in deepening your knowledge and the quality of the work.
