Job Responsibilities

Do you want to work in a operation where you have the opportunity to make a difference for other people and develop as a person? We are strengthening our team and are looking for two employees for the awake night shift at our night patrol and service housing at Ståthållaregatan.

As an assistant nurse, you work with providing practical, social, and pedagogical support, both in the individual's home within the service housing and in their home environment. You motivate and encourage the individual to participate and take responsibility in their daily life, always respecting self-determination and in accordance with the individual implementation plan. The target group consists primarily of elderly people with mental disabilities requiring significant care. In this role, you may also encounter people with co-morbidity, such as addiction, violence, homelessness, and other functional variations.

In this role, you plan and carry out interventions within support, care, and service, as well as delegated health and medical care tasks. The work may also involve helping care recipients with transfers, which requires good knowledge of transfer techniques, ergonomics, and the use of assistive devices.

We work in a process-oriented manner with clear structures and flows where the user is always in focus. Through a cross-professional approach, we collaborate across professional boundaries and value your competence and commitment to developing the operation together with us.

The working hours in the operations are awake nights, distributed across weekdays and weekends. You need to be prepared to sometimes work in other operations. We work based on annual working hours, with full-time as the norm.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• is educated as an assistant nurse, preferably with further education in the field of psychiatry.
• has a few years of professional experience as an assistant nurse.
• has good skills in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• has basic digital competence and experience with documentation according to the Social Services Act.
• holds a valid B-driver's license.

Meritorious:

• Experience and/or knowledge of mental disabilities, medication administration on delegation, transfer techniques, as well as co-morbidity and other functional variations.
• Experience with night work.
