Gröna Lunden is now looking for a nursing assistant for a temporary position of slightly more than 1 year at the dementia department. Gröna Lunden consists of a fantastic team with varying competencies and backgrounds who work according to IBIC. We have close cooperation with nurses, rehabilitation staff, and other professions.

Gröna Lunden consists of two departments: a short-term care department and a dementia department.

Working hours vary between day and evening shifts, as well as weekend duty every other weekend.

Job Responsibilities

To provide care and service according to the user's needs, decisions on assistance, and implementation plans, respecting the user's integrity, participation, and self-determination. The duties also include IT-based documentation and administration, as well as delegated health and medical care tasks.

In addition, you will:

• Support and motivate residents to maintain and strengthen their abilities in everyday life.
• Actively participate in planning and implementing meaningful activities for residents.
• Contribute to a good work climate through cooperation and communication within the work group.
• Be part of the development work by participating in meetings and improvement efforts.
• Support colleagues in other parts of the operation if needed to ensure continuity and quality in care.

Qualifications

Education in Care and Nursing or other education that provides nursing assistant competence, as well as good computer skills. The position requires good teamwork skills, flexibility, and independence. Personal suitability is highly valued.

We are looking for you who are educated as a nursing assistant, preferably with professional experience. The position requires that you as an individual can work independently as well as in a team and are flexible, as every workday looks different.

Merits:

• Experience in dementia care.
• Experience with documentation.
• Confidence in your professional role and a professional approach towards users, relatives, and colleagues.
• Education as a specialist nursing assistant with a focus on dementia, palliative care, psychiatry, elderly care, or another focus that the employer deems relevant.

Conditions

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the police register) must be presented before an employment offer is made.

As of July 1, 2023, "nursing assistant" is a protected professional title, and one must apply for a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title.

Passed grades in Swedish are required.

The schedule is planned to create a good balance between work and leisure as well as to meet the operation's needs.

The Care Administration is responsible for our elderly, people with disabilities, and the municipality's home healthcare. The administration also works with rehabilitation and preventive measures so that our citizens can live a good life throughout their lives.
