A summer job within the Patrol Unit is for you who enjoy working with people and want to contribute to a safer everyday life. The work involves answering all security alarms within Jönköping Municipality and performing needs-assessed night visits to citizens receiving home care or personal assistance. Your tasks

As a summer substitute with us, you will have a varied and rewarding job. You will work with care, support, and supervision, usually together with a colleague. You will go out on planned visits and critical alarms to provide support based on the citizen's individual needs. It is about creating a safer everyday life for the citizens.

Examples of tasks included:

• Answering and responding to security alarms
• Performing home care interventions in the citizen's home at night
• Providing support with personal care
• Performing delegated health and medical care interventions
• Performing simpler tasks within personal assistance, such as lifting and turning

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are positive, enjoy working with people, and have good collaboration skills. The job also requires that you can work independently, take responsibility, and be responsive.

We view positively if you have education within care and support, child and youth activities, or similar, but it is not a requirement. Previous experience in care and support is meritorious.

You need to be able to speak, read, and write in Swedish as you communicate with the elderly, their relatives, and colleagues, as well as write and read work notes.

You must be at least 18 years old, and the job requires a B driver's license.

Good to know

We are looking for more summer substitutes for our holiday period between week 25 and 34.

We would prefer that you, as an applicant, can work at least four consecutive weeks, but you who have the opportunity to work single hours during the week are also welcome to apply.

As a holiday substitute, you can work full-time or part-time according to agreement, which is governed by the needs of the operations. The working hours are primarily scheduled for night shifts, but day and evening shifts may also occur, both on weekdays and weekends.

The workplace is located at Kasernen in the Asecs area in Jönköping, which is also your starting point in daily work.
