The Role of the Nurse

Here, you will find exciting and varied work. Urology is a broad field ranging from infections to various cancer diagnoses. You will work with patients arriving through our emergency flow as well as those coming for planned surgeries, covering both pre- and post-operative perspectives. You are responsible for nursing care, observation, medication, and collaboration regarding patients with various urological conditions and varying care needs.

Job Details and Employment

The position is a full-time temporary assignment with working hours varying between day, evening, and weekend. The temporary assignment runs from August 17, 2026, to August 28, 2027, with a possible extension.

Your Future Workplace

On the care ward of the Urology Clinic at Ryhov County Hospital in Jönköping, there are 16 care beds on weekdays and 13 care beds on weekends, and we have an average care time of under three days. Here, you get the opportunity to dive into our specialty and gain knowledge in urology and urological nursing, a field within surgery that is developing at a high speed.

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. At the urology department, you need to be comfortable taking responsibility and have an inner drive that moves things forward.
