Your new position

We offer you the opportunity to use your experience in water treatment and problem-solving to help our customers with the design of efficient and sustainable facilities for both drinking water and wastewater. To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you have experience from mechanical installations or operation of treatment and/or water plants, either as a contractor, operations engineer, or consultant.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with other technical areas to develop technical solutions and design facilities for wastewater and drinking water treatment.
• Creating, structuring, and ensuring correct documentation in projects. Ensuring that both internal quality systems and regulations and standards are followed.
• Ensuring optimal technical function in our deliveries through correct selection of equipment and design of technical solutions.
• Contributing to continuous development within your own technical area.
• Mentoring more junior colleagues.
• Being on-site to meet customers and understand the prerequisites.

You will be part of the Water & Wastewater Treatment Stockholm unit. In addition to the location in Stockholm, there are also employees from the unit located in Linköping and Kalmar. The unit consists of 24 fantastic employees who all contribute to a great working environment in the group. The entire business area Water & Wastewater Treatment in Sweden consists of approximately 60 employees located in 11 locations. At Ramboll Water, we have a global team with over 1,000 employees who ensure the sustainable development of our society. Together we drive assignments within the investigation and design of facilities for drinking water production and wastewater treatment. We work with all types of process facilities related to water and wastewater; treatment plants, drinking water production, biogas production, pump stations, and industrial wastewater treatment. We follow large and small projects through all stages – from conceptual idea and analysis, to process dimensioning and conceptual design, further to detailed design, construction, and commissioning of facilities. We are a player on a strong march, we collaborate and support each other in the projects we drive and work in – we simply like to work together! One of our flagship projects is, for example, Syvab's major renovation of the Himmerfjärdsverket plant where high demands are placed on the treatment process to protect the recipient, the Baltic Sea. We have been involved in the project from early feasibility studies to ongoing detailed design.

About you

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• At least 5 years of experience from the water and wastewater industry.
• The ability to motivate and lead the project team to achieve established project goals.
• Experience in operations, contracting, or design, for example as Mechanical Technical Manager, Project Manager, both from municipal and industrial operations.
• Education in occupational health and safety (BAS-P/U), consulting and/or contracting law is meritorious.

You are a person who is analytical and thorough. You have competence in machinery and a deep interest in developing future technology. You perform best when you get to work with meaningful technology in varying projects, and your competence comes into its own when you combine your technical expertise and business understanding as an advisor to our customers.
