Your new workplace

We are looking for a Personal Assistant to provide support and care.

How you will contribute as a Personal Assistant

In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks for this female client, who has mobility impairments affecting most of her body. You will assist with transfers, eating, and hygiene, as well as driving a wheelchair-accessible vehicle so she can visit friends and participate in activities. Since she is very fragile, you must be extremely careful and precise. You must be able to interpret her subtle signals, as her communication is limited. She also requires the use of various medical devices, including a suction machine, respirator, tracheostomy care, and a floor lift. You will learn to operate these and other equipment independently. Some nursing tasks are included. Working hours vary, including days, evenings, awake nights, and weekends.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for a woman with life and work experience. As a person, you are meticulous, empathetic, attentive, and responsible. It is important that you can identify what needs to be done and take initiative, as the client has limited communication. Since the job requires reading and understanding advanced oral instructions, you must have fluent Swedish skills in both speech and writing. A valid Category B driver's license is required.

Experience with tracheostomy care, respirators, and other equipment such as lifts and suction machines is meritorious. The employer considers it meritorious if you are a trained assistant nurse (undersköterska) or have equivalent healthcare education.

Salary: Monthly/Hourly wage. Individual and differentiated salary setting is applied.

Terms: Salary supplements beyond the monthly wage follow the applicable collective agreement. Central collective agreements can be found on the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions website, www.skr.se
