You will become part of a highly competent development team responsible for the applications and features of our handheld IR cameras. The development takes place in C++ on a comprehensive Embedded Linux platform used within a large product family.

IR camera development is organized into two embedded teams with a total of approximately 40 employees: an OS team and an application team. The OS team is responsible for hardware-related development, including Yocto, board bring-up, and platform deliveries. Your role will be to work in the application team, focusing on developing innovative features and user experiences on top of the underlying platform.

• Develop and further develop applications in C++ for Embedded Linux

• Work with platform development within sustaining, feature additions, and NPI (New Product Introduction)

• Take technical responsibility and drive development tasks independently from idea to delivery

• Identify and communicate risks early in the development process

• Collaborate closely with other development teams to find efficient and sustainable solutions

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of products, processes, and working methods

• Have extensive experience in C++ development

• Have very good knowledge of Embedded Linux

• Feel comfortable with complex software platforms and large codebases

• Have experience working in embedded systems and understand their limitations

• Are self-motivated and thrive on taking responsibility and driving issues forward

• Have good collaboration skills and appreciate cross-functional work

• Have experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Miro

It is an advantage if you can communicate in Swedish or have a basic understanding of the language.

• After the introduction period, you can work from home 1 day/week (if the tasks allow)
