We are looking for a Project Manager to work with a government agency within the transport sector.

This is a consultancy assignment on a full-time basis.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The role is a Project Manager within the Navigation & Wayfinding area. You will be responsible for leading and driving development initiatives based on the capability area's roadmap. The role involves working in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders and driving the development and implementation of new systems and services. The work is carried out in close collaboration with product owners, test managers, internal development teams, and external suppliers. Assignments may cover the entire chain from needs assessment and impact mapping to requirements definition, implementation, and deployment in the production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive development initiatives based on the capability area's roadmap.
• Coordinate work on solutions consisting of both procured system components and services developed by internal teams.
• Collaborate with product owners, test managers, internal development teams, and external suppliers.
• Contribute to improving collaboration and processes between teams, product areas, and other parts of the organization.
• Project manage assignments in various phases from needs assessment and impact mapping to requirements definition and implementation in the production environment.
• Adapt working methods and efforts based on the needs of the initiatives and involved parties.
• Project manage the procurement and implementation of systems for managing, storing, and distributing infrastructure information.
• Drive initiatives for improved travel planning suggestions by using information about vehicle location and occupancy.
• Coordinate technical activities during lifecycle upgrades of passenger information systems and data flows on vehicles.
• Create and implement automated changes to base data for route alignments and stops based on executed traffic.
• Contribute to the development of digital channels with functionality for improved navigation at major transfer hubs.

Requirements (Mandatory)

• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
• At least nine (9) years of experience in the role of IT Project Manager.
• At least three (3) years of documented experience working in development projects in a client role (e.g., project manager, assignment leader, or similar roles) towards one or more suppliers.
• At least three (3) years of experience leading the procurement of goods and services according to LOU/LUF (Swedish Public Procurement Act).
• At least two (2) documented assignments where change management was a key deliverable.
• At least six (6) years of experience in assignments where work with requirements analysis and requirements gathering was a key deliverable.
• At least three (3) assignments in the last five (5) years where agile product development methodology has been used.
• At least three (3) years of experience in project management in environments with multiple collaborating teams, suppliers, or business areas.

Merits

• At least five (5) years of experience working on assignments within large organizations such as government agencies or similar.
• At least two (2) years of experience working with information services and IT systems directed towards users.
• At least five (5) years of experience leading IT assignments where integrations and complex information flows (e.g., multiple integrations, multiple data sources, information exchange between multiple systems, etc.) were important deliverables.
• At least one (1) assignment where project budget responsibility was included.
