We are now looking for a Kitchen Assistant for a position at an ICA grocery store in Täby.

We are looking for you who thrive in a kitchen environment, work in a structured manner, and have an interest in food and service. You will become an important part of the store's kitchen team and contribute to customers being greeted by fresh and well-stocked meal solutions every day.

The work is varied and consists, among other things, of preparing salads, sandwiches, and wraps, making dips and sauces, and assisting with daily kitchen production. You will also be responsible for maintaining the store's food buffet, slicing cheese, slicing cold cuts, and contributing to the kitchen maintaining high standards regarding quality, hygiene, and tidiness.

If you also have experience cooking simpler dishes, it is highly meritorious.

• Have experience from kitchens, cold counters, delicatessens, or similar operations

• Are meticulous, responsible, and quality-conscious

• Enjoy working at a fast pace

• Have good teamwork skills and are service-oriented

• Have an interest in cooking and food

• Can work independently when needed

Experience from the grocery retail industry or ICA stores is meritorious.

• Prepare salads, sandwiches, and wraps

• Make dips and sauces

• Manage and restock the food buffet

• Slice cheese and cold cuts

• Assist in daily kitchen production

• Contribute to order, quality, and food safety in the kitchen

• Approximately 30–40 hours per week

• The assignment lasts for approximately 3 months

• Start in mid-September

You will be employed by Bemannica AB and work as a consultant at the ICA store.

Salary according to collective agreement.
