At the Health and Medical Services Unit in Järfälla Municipality, nurses, rehabilitation staff, administrators, and managers work together to create safe, professional, and person-centered care.

As a nurse with us, you are employed by the Health and Medical Services Unit but work at our eight care and support residences in Barkarbystaden, Viksjö, Jakobsberg, and Kallhäll.

We work closely together and support each other in daily tasks. We are highly committed to developing both healthcare and the work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse with us, you play a vital and central role in the patient-centered team.

Your duties include, but are not limited to:

Medical assessments
Medication management
Advising care staff
Contact with doctors and other healthcare providers
Documentation in the LifeCare HSL medical record system

The work requires both independence and collaboration. You prioritize, make assessments, and contribute to safe and secure care for our patients.

The work involves day, evening, and weekend shifts.

The summer schedule covers June through August.

We prefer that you can work for at least 6 weeks during this period.

To ensure you feel secure in the role, we offer an introduction before the summer. If possible, we would prefer that you start working as an hourly substitute before the summer begins.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

Is a licensed nurse
Has at least 12 months of professional experience
Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Feels confident working independently

Experience in areas such as the following is considered an asset:

Geriatrics
Home healthcare
Psychiatry
ASIH (Acute Services in Home Healthcare)
Emergency preparedness work

Experience with LifeCare HSL or Procapita is also considered an asset.
