We are looking for more assistant nurses for elderly care in Älvdalen Municipality

Job Responsibilities

We base our approach on each individual's needs and adapt support according to their abilities and wishes. The work involves care and nursing according to the Social Services Act. An important part of the job is also to create security and contribute to a meaningful daily life through social contact, activities, and outdoor time.

The work also includes delegated tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act.

We plan the work based on each individual's implementation plan. You have an important responsibility to contribute to good quality and development in the operations. We work with permanent care contacts, which means you have extra responsibility for certain individuals.

As an assistant nurse, you play a key role. You work closely with the people we support, together with colleagues and other professional groups. Together, we ensure good support and a secure daily life.

Who are we looking for?

We are primarily looking for you who are a trained assistant nurse with a valid professional certificate.

We also welcome you who currently work as a care assistant and have the grades required for study, as well as the desire to train as an assistant nurse.

You feel confident using digital technology and see the possibilities with digital tools as support in your work. Communication and documentation are important parts of the assignment, so you need to be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. If you have knowledge of additional languages, we see this as an advantage. A talent for languages is a good trait for work in elderly care, as many of our citizens speak Sami, Älvdalian, Särna dialect, Idre dialect, or have another mother tongue.

A Class B driver's license for manual transmission is required for work within home care services.
