Cargo Officer for Scanpartners International

From our offices in Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, and Helsinki, we represent our clients as their sales and service function. In our efforts to develop and sustain a healthy business for the airlines and deliver the best possible services to forwarding agents, we are in daily contact with airlines, road transport companies, handling agents, forwarders, and more.

Cargo Officer

Job Description:

The Cargo Officer reports to the Group Commercial Director and has daily cooperation with the Country Manager at ARN as well as other stations (OSL, CPH, HEL, ARN).

The Cargo Officer is responsible for maintaining and growing the airlines in the portfolio as assigned, aligned with corporate objectives (i.e., revenue and product growth initiatives, etc.). The Cargo Officer oversees developing existing relationships with forwarders and identifies new business opportunities in the market. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, proactive, and result-driven individual with a strong mindset to grow the business.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain contact with assigned airlines and ensure market penetration according to potential

· Build relationships with forwarders at all levels and represent our airlines in a professional manner

· Participate daily in operational tasks and work in a systematic way. Provide the team with clear guidance

· Achieve growth targets according to defined goals

· Participate in tenders and demonstrate business insight

· Be a good colleague and a motivational manager. Show respect for the views and contributions of other team members

· Keep up to date with competitor information and market trends

· Weekly cooperation with management from other Scandinavian offices

Profile:

· Outgoing and open person in group situations

· Learns from successes and failures and seeks staff and customer feedback

· Focuses on customer needs and satisfaction and sets high standards for quality and quantity

· Can adapt to changing circumstances while still focusing on overall targets

· Uses humor to bring warmth into relationships with colleagues and clients

Experience:

Preferably experience working for an airline, freight forwarder, or GSA

Location:

No remote work possible + Office located at Cargo City, Arlanda Airport.
