Your Role

As an Electrician at Saab Muskö, you will work with new installations and maintenance of various electrical systems on marine platforms. The ships vary in complexity and age, making the work diverse and contributing to a broad range of tasks.

Examples of work areas include:

• Lighting
• Sensors
• Motors
• Generators
• Batteries and chargers

You will also work with troubleshooting, corrective maintenance, improvement projects, and administrative tasks. The role requires proficiency in technical English, both spoken and written. Domestic travel may be required.

Your Profile

To apply for this role, you should have:

• A high school education in electricity or equivalent
• A few years of work experience in the field
• Practical experience in troubleshooting electrical systems, at both component and system levels
• A valid driver's license (Category B)

Experience from other areas such as electronics, hydraulics, and mechanics is considered an asset.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks applicable at the time. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may in some cases entail citizenship requirements.
