Tegnér’s Bakery is a craft bakery with a café, where we offer freshly baked bread, pastries, coffee, and food every day in an environment that feels pleasant, thoughtful, and welcoming. We value quality in both our products and our customer service, and we work closely together to ensure a smooth daily operation.

We are now looking for an experienced café assistant for our unit in Ekerö. This is a supplementary position where we currently have a need for more shifts during the summer, while also seeking someone who can continue working weekends and extra shifts after the summer.

This role is suitable for you who enjoy café work, like a fast pace, and want to contribute to making both guests and colleagues have a good day at work. For the right person, there is potential for the role to develop into a more permanent position in the future.

About the Position

The position involves weekend work every other or every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday), with shifts from opening to closing.

The employment is supplementary as needed, with the possibility of more shifts for the right person over time.

You will become an important part of the team during our busiest days and need to thrive working both independently and collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Work at the cash register and in service
• Prepare coffee and espresso with high quality
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the serving area, dishwashing, and guest areas
• Restock and front products in the display case
• Assist with work in the cold room as needed
• Contribute to smooth workflow throughout the day

We are looking for someone who

• Has previous experience from a café, restaurant, or similar service work
• Is confident using the cash register and espresso machine
• Has good customer service skills and enjoys working with people
• Takes responsibility and can maintain pace when needed
• Thrives in a team but can also work independently
• Has good Swedish proficiency; English is an advantage
• Lives close enough to commute easily to the workplace in Ekerö.
