We are a restaurant offering food with a focus on Middle Eastern-inspired grilled dishes and shawarma. We are now looking for an engaged and experienced shawarma chef who wants to become part of our team.

About the Role

As a kitchen assistant, you will work with the preparation and cooking of shawarma as well as other common tasks in the restaurant kitchen. The position requires experience in meat preparation, marination, and cooking, as well as the ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, marinate, and handle meat for shawarma.
• Assemble and cook shawarma skewers of chicken and beef.
• Responsible for grilling, slicing, and serving.
• Ensure the food maintains high quality and is presented attractively.
• Follow current hygiene and food safety procedures.
• Participate in other recurring tasks in the kitchen.
• Contribute to good order and teamwork in the workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a restaurant kitchen.
• Experience in cooking shawarma or similar grilled dishes is an advantage.
• Knowledge of meat preparation, marination, and food handling.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and service-minded.

Employment Conditions

• Employment type: Permanent position with an initial probationary period according to law and collective agreement-like terms.
• Scope: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
