Do you want to be part of a dynamic and event-rich operation where no two days are alike? We are now looking for a driven, service-oriented, and structured Restaurant Coordinator to strengthen our team during the intense autumn event season at Stockholm International Fairs.

Mässrestauranger operates up to 14 restaurants and cafés in connection with Stockholm International Fairs' exhibitions, conferences, and public events. Mässrestauranger is part of the restaurant group Food Family. The group also includes Mässrestauranger in Malmö, Teaterbaren at Kulturhuset in Stockholm, Engsholm Castle, Great Events at Scandinavian XPO near Arlanda, and Stadshusrestauranger in Stockholm City Hall, including responsibility for the Nobel Banquet. A passion for food, drink, and good service has characterized the company for four generations.

Autumn is our most intensive period, filled with exciting arrangements and a high tempo, where we together create memorable experiences for thousands of guests.

As a Restaurant Coordinator, you work closely with the restaurant manager and project leader for the café and restaurant operations. You become an important part of the daily operations and act as a link between administration, operations, and the guest experience. The role is varied and suits you who enjoy both practical work and administrative tasks.

Your responsibilities

  • Guest interaction and service in our restaurants and cafés during event days.
  • Coordination and administration via our digital systems and tools.
  • Support to restaurant management in daily operational work.
  • Planning, follow-up, and handling of ongoing administrative tasks.
  • Coordination of information between different parts of the operation.
  • Flexible contribution where you support the operation where the need is greatest during intense event days.

Experience

  • Have at least two years of experience in operational management and administration within restaurant, café, or event operations.
  • Are service-oriented and enjoy meeting guests in a high-tempo environment.
  • Are structured, detail-oriented, and have good administrative skills.
  • Have good knowledge of the Office suite.
  • Have experience with Trello or similar project and coordination tools (meritorious).
  • Are self-motivated, solution-oriented, and thrive when taking personal responsibility.
  • Enjoy variety and appreciate a work environment where days look different.

About the position

Period: September 1 – December 1

Scope: Full-time, seasonal employment

Location: Stockholm International Fairs, Stockholm
