We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Laboratory Technician to a well-established food production company in Halmstad and the surrounding area. Here you will enjoy a varied daily routine involving sampling, analysis, documentation, and follow-up, while collaborating closely with production and other functions within the company.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will work closely with both production and quality functions, acting as a vital link between operations and quality assurance. You will be responsible for sampling, analysis, documentation, and follow-up, while also contributing to the development and assurance of methods, routines, and processes related to quality and food safety.

This is a role for you if you appreciate the combination of practical work, administration, and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Sampling and analysis of raw materials, products, and processes.
  • Documentation and follow-up of results.
  • Handling quality deviations.
  • Supporting production with quality-related issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with routines, instructions, and food safety requirements.
  • Participating in improvement and development work.

The position is initially a fixed-term assignment of 6 months, with good opportunities for extension and permanent employment with the client. Working hours are 05:30–14:00, with an immediate start, preferably from week 26 or as agreed.

ABOUT YOU

We believe you have experience from laboratory work, quality assurance, or food production and feel comfortable in an environment where precision, structure, and responsibility are crucial for the company's success.

You collaborate well with others, are communicative, and enjoy building good relationships within the organization. At the same time, you are self-motivated, take initiative, and have the ability to plan and prioritize your work.

We would like you to have:

  • Experience from laboratory work, quality work, or food production.
  • Strong administrative skills and experience with documentation.
  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience working according to HACCP, ISO, or similar quality standards is a plus.

Qualifications that are a plus:

  • Experience with GMP-controlled production.
  • Experience in food production (HACCP, BRC, IFS).
