We are looking for you with experience welding Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum, who wants to work and develop in a highly varied production environment with significant personal responsibility and an improvement-oriented culture.

About the Role

In this role, you will work with welding of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, primarily in short production series of 1-10 pieces per production batch for our customers across various industries. We are specialists in low volume and high mix with high quality requirements, where you are a crucial factor for our success. You are responsible for performing welds according to drawings and work instructions, ensuring high quality and documentation. You collaborate closely with colleagues in production and report to the team leader in case of deviations or needs for improvements.

Tasks and Responsibilities – Welding & Metalworking

• Perform MIG/MAG, TIG, or other common welding methods on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum according to specifications

• Read and interpret drawings, welding procedures, and work instructions

• Prepare materials through cutting, grinding, and assembly prior to welding

• Perform quality checks and self-inspections, and report deviations

• Collaborate with the team to maintain an efficient production flow and identify/share best practices

• Participate in workplace improvement initiatives and follow current health and safety regulations

• Contribute to documentation of completed work and material traceability

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience welding mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum

• Knowledge of MIG/MAG and/or TIG is required

• Ability to read drawings and welding procedures and apply them practically

• Experience in metalworking, angle grinding, and preparation or finishing work

• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

• Good physical fitness for practical work

• Forklift and overhead crane licenses are meritorious but not mandatory
