For our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy industry, we are now looking for an R&D Project Manager – Service Division for an assignment at their site in Finspång.

Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner in the energy sector, delivering advanced and sustainable solutions for the market's current and future needs.

Through this assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and forward-looking environment with many development possibilities.

This is initially a 12-month consulting assignment via Unik Resurs with very good opportunities for extension.

We apply rolling selection, which means the assignment may be filled earlier than the final application deadline.

Responsibilities and Duties

As an R&D Project Manager within our Service Organization, you will play a key role in the development of our existing gas turbine fleet. You will lead development projects that drive technical progress and contribute to a more sustainable energy future.

In this role, you will work in a dynamic and creative environment where no two days are alike. You will have the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams, foster collaboration across organizational and geographical boundaries, and contribute to the development of innovative products and solutions. As an R&D Project Manager, you will:

• Have overall responsibility for development projects from initiation to delivery and follow-up.
• Establish and drive projects according to established project models and agile working methods.
• Create project plans and break them down into clear and actionable activities.
• Lead cross-functional project teams, strengthen collaboration, and promote innovation in an international environment.
• Be responsible for schedules, follow-up, quality, and cost control in close cooperation with STECO and resource owners.
• Lead project meetings and support the team in finding creative solutions to technical challenges.
• Collaborate with colleagues and partners worldwide, navigating between different cultures, working methods, and languages.
• Lead project teams typically consisting of 3–10 people.

Your Profile

• Several years of experience in project management.
• Documented experience leading Research and Development (R&D) projects.
• Experience with gas turbines is advantageous, especially from commissioning or design work.
• Experience with projects within control systems, core components, or package solutions is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge in mechanical auxiliary systems or power generation is a plus.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Additional language skills are advantageous.
• A professional and open approach in international collaborations.
• A communicative, structured, proactive, and goal-oriented personality.
