About the role

As a Junior Application Engineer, you will become an important part of our engineering team. You will work closely with product development and collaborate internally. Part of the job also involves external contacts where you represent the company.

This is a perfect role for you who are at the beginning of your career and want to develop within application engineering in an international and meaningful operation.

Your responsibilities

• Assist in application and project work
• Develop technical solutions from start to finished product.
• Design primarily within application but also within the entire Engineering group.
• Prepare test materials and participate in testing including analysis
• Troubleshoot technical problems and contribute to improvement measures
• Document solutions and contribute to knowledge sharing
• Provide technical support to internal users and sometimes external partners

Qualifications

• Strong interest in technology
• Upper secondary education in technology or equivalent
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of mechanics
• Accustomed to practical work
• Fluent Swedish and good English in speech and writing
• Computer literacy

Merits

• Technical system understanding (mechanics, mechatronics, electronics, programming)
• Design experience
• Experience in prototype manufacturing of cabling
• Technical understanding of electric motors
• Interest in programming

The position is a permanent full-time employment and falls under the Union's bargaining area for the Engineering Agreement. Start date by agreement and the position is located at the European headquarters in Stenkullen.
