Your Profile

For our client, Weland Stål AB, we are looking for you who are curious, solution-oriented, and have a genuine interest in product development. You enjoy taking responsibility for your tasks while appreciating working together with others.

We would like you to have:

• Relevant education in product development, design, or engineering
• Experience in product development or similar tasks
• Good technical understanding
• Experience with 3D CAD and other relevant development tools
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

The development work will be both theoretical and practical. Therefore, it is important that you, in addition to your design engineering knowledge, have good workshop experience.

Responsibilities

Weland Stål has been a leading player in the roof safety segment for nearly 50 years. Their philosophy of developing smart, simple, and effective solutions has made Weland Stål market-leading and one of the largest manufacturers in the Nordic region.

As a Product Developer, you will work with the development and improvement of products, primarily in Magnelis thin-gauge steel, based on market needs and the company's strategic goals. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in several functions and contribute with both technical competence and new perspectives.

Responsibilities may include:

• Development of new products and solutions
• Improvement and further development of existing products, including in roof safety
• Creation of prototypes and technical documentation
• Collaboration with production, purchasing, and other internal functions

About the Position

• Scope: Full-time, daytime hours.
• Start: According to agreement.
• Salary: Fixed salary.
