At Medpro Clinic Åmål, over 60 colleagues from 13 different professions work together to offer a comprehensive primary care service to our 11,000 registered patients.

We offer doctor's clinics, nurse's clinics, home care, and specialist nurse clinics for diabetes, asthma/COPD, vaccinations, lifestyle habits, as well as rehabilitation with occupational therapists and physiotherapists. We have a large mental health team, including a clinic for Young People's Mental Health.

About the role

As a Diabetes Nurse with us, you are responsible for and develop the diabetes clinic at the health center in close collaboration with the rest of the team. We adapt care to the patient's needs, which may include home visits, sample collection, and telephone counseling.

The role also involves participating in the health center's other activities, such as nurse clinics, vaccinations, and telephone counseling.

About you

You are a registered nurse or district nurse with diabetes competence. We believe that you, as an applicant, are an engaged person who is passionate about primary care and has a desire to develop yourself and our operations.

You enjoy working both independently and in teams, as our work model is based on teamwork both within the professional group and cross-professionally.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and the ability to fit into the team.

Scope: Full-time

Employment type: Permanent position, with a 6-month probation period
