RESPONSIBILITIES

As a care assistant with us, you will have a meaningful role where, with care, attentiveness, and professional engagement, you support people in their daily lives and contribute to creating safety, participation, and quality of life. Here you will work closely with residents and be present in both big and small moments, where your attitude and competence ensure that every individual has the opportunity to live as independent and dignified a life as possible. You will become an important part of a team working together to create a safe and stimulating environment where both residents and employees can thrive and develop.

The duties include, among other things:

• Provide individually adapted support and care based on the individual's needs and disabilities.
• Support the person's independence, self-determination, and personal integrity in daily activities.
• Use adapted communication methods to facilitate understanding and participation.
• Support the individual's participation in leisure, cultural, and community activities.
• Document according to current guidelines and follow and contribute to the updating of implementation plans.
• Perform delegated medical tasks according to instructions from a nurse and report changes in condition when applicable.
• Work days, evenings, nights, and weekends, including on-call duties with overnight stays.

Qualifications and Merits

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who work in a structured and goal-oriented manner, with the ability to plan, organize, and follow up on your work responsibly. You are confident in yourself and keep your calm even in stressful or unexpected situations, which allows you to act constructively and maintain a professional attitude even under pressure. In this role, it is important that you have a good approach to other people, with the ability to listen, show consideration, and put yourself in the individual's perspective. You value collaboration and contribute to a positive work environment through a solution-oriented way of working, focusing on achieving common goals together with colleagues and other professions.

Requirements for the position:

• Completed nursing and care program with passing grades.
• Experience in professional practice within the care sector, e.g., personal care or delegation.
• Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Merits:

• Completed specialist training as a care assistant.
