Sales Manager Fresh Produce – Become a key player in the heart of the store!
Do you have a passion for first-class service, inspiring customer interactions, and achieving great results together with others? Then the role of Sales Manager Fresh Produce might be just right for you!
We are looking for someone who wants to help develop our manual service points and ensure that every customer leaves the store with an experience that exceeds expectations. Here, you will have a central role where you combine leadership, sales, and customer interaction – and where your creativity and drive truly make a difference.
About the role
As a Sales Manager, you are an important part of our organization. You work towards clear goals and are responsible for thoughtful and inspiring sales planning at the store's manual service points. You ensure that personal interactions maintain the highest quality and that we always live up to Coop's vision: "Sweden's most important consumer force" and the member promise "Together we give every member more."
The role also includes:
- Monitoring key figures and working with continuous improvements
- Ensuring good customer interactions both at service points and in the store
- Coaching and leading employees during various opening hours
- Participating in the planning and execution of local marketing activities
- Taking responsibility for sales planning, orders, self-control, waste minimization, and product display
- Managing routine schedules, assortment, and price/shelf maintenance
- Acting as a leader in the absence of the management group
You will also work in the daily store operations together with the sales staff.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is confident in customer interactions and motivated by creating results together with others. You are a creative and innovative person with a strong service mindset and a coaching approach, and you thrive in a role where you get to inspire and develop both employees and customer experiences. You have a genuine interest in food and follow trends that can contribute to developing the store's offerings. With engagement, drive, and good communication skills, you are someone who wants to influence and is passionate about making a difference in everyday life – both for the team and for our customers.
The work is sometimes physically demanding, and in addition to your duties as a Sales Manager, the position also includes other common store tasks such as cashiering, picking, and customer service. You report to the Customer Flow Manager.
Do you want to help create future customer experiences?
Then we look forward to hearing from you! Here you get the opportunity to grow – both in the role and together with your team. Welcome to become part of our commitment to better food, sustainability, and top-class customer service. We offer a secure workplace, good camaraderie, and the opportunity to develop within the grocery retail industry.
The position is a temporary assignment of 38 hours/week, starting immediately until January 1, 2028. Working hours vary and are distributed across daytime, evening, and weekends. Recruitment is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
Experience and Competence
- Good Swedish language skills (spoken and written) are required
- High school education is required
- Experience from grocery retail, general retail, or service professions (e.g., hotel, conference, restaurant) is meritorious
