About the Role

The role of an assistant nurse involves meeting the individual's basic and specific care and nursing needs, both socially and culturally, as well as physically and psychologically. We achieve this by safeguarding and respecting everyone's right to privacy and bodily integrity, self-determination, participation, and individual adaptation, ensuring that each person can live a dignified life and feel well.

As an assistant nurse at Antuna, you work closely with the elderly, supporting them in their daily lives through person-centered care and support. In addition to direct care and support, the duties include medical record documentation, contact person responsibilities, and the development of implementation plans to ensure elder care tailored to the individual's needs. Delegation of medication administration may be included in the role.

We are currently seeking you who are interested in working as an assistant nurse in a permanent position with an employment level of 85–90%. Start dates vary depending on the position and are set by agreement.

Who are you?

We are looking for two new employees for Antuna. The permanent positions involve working on different wards, with the primary base being one ward with standard orientation and another with a dementia focus. These positions are tied to a core schedule that includes day shifts, evening shifts, and weekends.

Flexibility, empathy, strong collaboration and communication skills, and a curiosity to learn are important qualities that we value.

Qualifications and Preferences

We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse, or have other education deemed equivalent. It is an advantage if you have additional training in dementia care, psychiatry, or palliative care. You must have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

To succeed in this role, we believe certain personal qualities are important. In interactions with users, integrity and empathy are key. Colleague-wise, collaboration and flexibility are required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Previous experience is an advantage but not mandatory. Start date by agreement.
