About the Role and Assignment

In the role of Logistics Specialist, you will be employed by Randstad and work as a consultant at our client's state-of-the-art facility in Katrineholm. You will play a central role in ensuring that the right equipment and components are available for the technicians on-site, ensuring smooth daily operations.

The work involves a mix of administrative tasks in digital warehouse systems and physical handling of materials. You will become part of a tight-knit team where safety, team spirit, and high quality permeate all work.

Scope: Full-time
Start: ASAP (upon agreement)

Responsibilities

Your main tasks:

  • Warehouse and Inventory Management: Check stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and optimize storage spaces for the best possible flow and order.
  • Inbound and Outbound Deliveries: Receive, unpack, and verify incoming goods against the purchasing system, and arrange and prepare outgoing shipments.
  • System Administration: Register items and keep warehouse systems and internal databases updated and accurate in real-time.
  • Supplier Contact: Coordinate deliveries with couriers, transport companies, and external suppliers, as well as handle returns and incorrect deliveries (RMA processes).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with operations technicians and engineers to quickly and accurately provide them with the parts they need.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you are a person with strong drive, a keen focus on details, and the ability to meet deadlines even when the pace is high. You always prioritize safety and enjoy collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements:

  • Experience: You have previous work experience in logistics, warehousing, material control, or similar functions.
  • Computer Skills: You have an aptitude for learning different systems and good computer literacy.
  • Languages: As you will work in an international environment and documentation is in English, fluency in English (both spoken and written) is required, in addition to good Swedish skills.
  • Physical Requirements: The role involves some heavy lifting, so you must be able to lift and carry up to 18 kg over short distances.
  • Driver's License: A valid Class B driver's license is an absolute requirement as the facility is not accessible by public transport and access to a personal car is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant education in logistics or Supply Chain.
  • Experience working with IT, network, or hardware components.
  • Experience in project management or process improvement.
