COOK FOR SKIPPERSTUEN IN DRØBAK – SEASONAL POSITION BY THE SEA

Nestled in the idyllic town of Drøbak, right by the fjord, lies Skipperstuen. A restaurant where quality, tradition, and genuine hospitality are at the center. As we enter the high season, we are looking for an engaged cook who wants to become part of our wonderful team.

Here, we prepare classic dishes from scratch, focusing on quality ingredients, solid craftsmanship, and flavor experiences that guests remember.

About the Role

As a cook at Skipperstuen, you will work in a tight-knit kitchen where quality, teamwork, and job satisfaction are just as important as the food we serve. The pace can be fast during the summer months, but the atmosphere is familial and positive.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and producing food.
• Ensuring quality and presentation of dishes.
• Maintaining high hygiene standards and following food safety protocols.
• Contributing to a positive work environment and a well-functioning kitchen.
• Collaborating closely with other staff members in the restaurant.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience working in a restaurant kitchen.
• Has experience preparing classic restaurant dishes, including hamburgers, pasta, and traditional home-style cooking.
• Is passionate about cooking and quality ingredients.
• Works in a structured, efficient, and meticulous manner.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing guests with a great experience.
• Is flexible, responsible, and a positive team player.

A culinary education or professional certification is an asset but not a requirement. We also welcome candidates with substantial practical experience from restaurant kitchens.
