The Area of Process and Development is located within the Process business area and is tasked with conducting business development for the Sickness Insurance department. Responsibilities within the area include IT development, production control, process and method development, competence supply, and training programs. Process and Development collaborates extensively within the agency as well as with external partners and actors.

Close leadership, IT development, sustainable workplace

As a Unit Manager, you are the manager closest to the employees and the operations. You are responsible for leading and driving daily work based on the department's mission and goals, where the public sector values permeate your work. Through your leadership, you convey clear expectations, follow up on goals, and provide your employees with the right conditions to take responsibility. You may lead own assignments where you are the project owner. You have personnel responsibility as well as result and follow-up responsibility for your unit's mission. You may represent Försäkringskassan in external collaborations.

Your unit consists of 12 employees working on development within sickness insurance and are located in several different places. Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take responsibility and meet the need for change. You create understanding of contexts, direction, and the target images set by the department, and develop the plans your operations need. As a Unit Manager, you are a support for the Area Manager, and you are part of the area's management group, consisting of 3 colleagues in total, where you contribute your competence and engagement. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that creates conditions for employees to use their judgment and competence.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who are to work with us, have a high level of security awareness.

  • have experience in strategic and operational leadership in similar operations
  • have experience in process development
  • have experience in project management
  • have experience in leading remotely
  • have experience in planning your operations in collaboration with remote manager colleagues
  • have experience in development steering within similar operations
  • have good knowledge of sickness insurance regulations
  • have a good understanding of Försäkringskassan's mission.

One position, permanent, full-time, with start date as agreed. Probation period may apply. Some positions with us involve participation in security-sensitive operations. To be employed in such a position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) is required.

In accordance with Försäkringskassan's security guidelines, background checks are conducted in this recruitment. Swedish citizenship is required for this position. Remote work is possible if the work allows. Interviews for the position are planned for June 22 and 23. Location: Stockholm (Telefonplan).
