St. Görans Hospital on Kungsholmen is one of Sweden's most historic emergency hospitals, with a history dating back to the 19th century. Today, it is one of the country's leading emergency hospitals, operated by Capio on behalf of Region Stockholm. The hospital is known for its short decision-making paths, innovative working methods, and a strong team spirit where all professional groups collaborate closely.

As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for ensuring operations within ventilation, medical gases, plumbing, and heating/cooling together with your team. You will play a key role in handling both modern and older technology in an environment where your contribution makes a difference for healthcare every day.

Responsibilities

The role involves overall responsibility for the hospital's technical operations, combining practical maintenance with technical analysis and administration in a tightly knit group. Among other things, you will:

• Perform rounds, supervision, and maintenance of the hospital's technical systems.
• Carry out corrective maintenance and planned maintenance.
• Manage and optimize control and monitoring systems.
• Continuously improve routines and working methods for operations.
• Perform project-based work in addition to regular agreements.
• Analyze technical connections to ensure future operational development.
• Collaborate with healthcare personnel and suppliers on technical issues.

We are looking for you who

• Have property technical education at least at the upper secondary level.
• Have at least three years of experience as a maintenance technician.
• Have good knowledge of plumbing, ventilation, control, and monitoring.
• Have experience operating in complex facilities.
• Have good computer skills.
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

The following are meritorious:

• Good knowledge of English.
• Experience working with medical gases.
• Experience from hospital or laboratory environments.
• Knowledge of advanced integrated systems.
