Description

For the summer, we are looking for individuals interested in working full-time or part-time, for the entire summer or parts of it, at the municipality's special housing units and short-term care facilities.

We have a need for summer substitutes between weeks 25–32, possibly longer. Introduction takes place before the substitute period begins.

Recruitment is ongoing via this advertisement. We will also host an open house on April 21st at Folketshus (Lilla Galejan) from 14:00–17:00, where various departments will be present to provide information and answer questions. You will have the opportunity to apply for summer jobs on-site. For the meeting and interview, please bring a current police record extract, CV, cover letter, and references. Welcome to us!

Responsibilities

We are looking for summer substitutes for our special housing units:

  • Sjögläntan
  • Humlegården

Here is some information about the role:

As staff in special housing, your tasks include supporting daily life with social interaction and activities, assistance with personal hygiene, cooking, cleaning/laundry, documentation, medication management, and other delegated tasks from the nurse.

There is an opportunity to work the entire summer or parts of the summer. We offer work during day/evening, night, and weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have healthcare education or alternatively experience from care work or other experience that the employer considers meritorious.

You must be at least 18 years old and possess Swedish language skills sufficient to communicate with users and colleagues, as well as document as required by the operations.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

To fit the role, we see that you are social, empathetic, able to work independently and in a team. You should have the user's needs at the center and maintain a professional attitude towards users, relatives, and colleagues.

Other

The work is scheduled during day/evening/night and weekends.

For the interview, bring your professional license/certification, reference details, and work permit if required.

Background Check

To work in user- and patient-facing roles, you must submit a certificate of good conduct (police record extract). You must request the extract yourself from the Swedish Police Authority using the form "Utdrag ur belastningsregistret" available in the form archive on the police website.
