Take ownership of the hardware/software interface in an advanced automotive platform

Here you will work close to the interface between hardware and software in an advanced platform for software-defined vehicles. This role is perfect for you who want to influence the architecture where decisions have a significant impact on safety, performance, and delivery.

About the role

• You own the definition of the HW/SW interface in the platform.
• You ensure that hardware, software, and suppliers work together seamlessly.
• You contribute to architectural choices that must stand the test of time.

What you will do

• Define interfaces between MCU, SoC, and higher software layers.
• Distribute functions between hardware and software based on safety requirements.
• Develop requirements for suppliers and support hardware selection.
• Work with boot flow, BSP, secure boot, and shutdown.
• Contribute to questions regarding security hardware and cryptographic solutions.

We are looking for someone who has

• Extensive experience with embedded systems and HW/SW interfaces.
• Experience from the automotive industry or another safety-critical environment.
• Proficiency in writing clear interface specifications.
• Understanding of security architecture and real-time requirements.
• Ability to work closely with both technology teams and suppliers.
