Your Role

Are you ready to become part of a super team developing tomorrow's defense technology? Saab Dynamics is looking for a Development Engineer for our Fuze Design section – a team where safety and long-term product care go hand in hand. Here, we work with electric fuses and fuse tubes, the critical components that ensure our products function correctly when it really matters.

In your role, you will work on both the design of new products and the management of existing ones. You will be involved in designing, developing, and following our products from concept to finished product. Part of the work also involves assisting production with troubleshooting and management, where you handle change requests and ensure our products can continue to be produced and delivered to our customers. This includes work both in the lab and in the field, giving you the opportunity to solve technical challenges and ensure the product's long-term functionality. Your tasks will be varied and challenging, with great responsibility but also the freedom to plan your own work. Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a Master of Science or Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technical Physics, or a similar field. If you have a different background but a passion for technology and innovation, you are also warmly welcome to apply! Experience in design work and/or systems engineering is certainly a plus, although this is not a requirement.

We believe you are a driven person who enjoys collaborating and thinking outside the box. You are communicative, in both Swedish and English, and like to take responsibility for your work. You are meticulous, have an eye for detail, and enjoy challenging yourself and learning new things.
