About the role

Svenska kraftnät plays a crucial role in Sweden's energy transition, and security protection is a key part of enabling a secure and stable electricity supply. We are now looking for an engaged and responsible person who wants to work with supplier security and ensure that our security-sensitive operations are protected when exposed to external parties.

In this role, you will hold a key position where you not only work operationally with security protection but also contribute to strategic development in the area. The field is undergoing significant change, including new legislation, which means you will have the opportunity to help shape the work going forward.

In this role, you will have a broad and varied area of responsibility where you will work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues within security and other parts of the organization. You will:

• Conduct security clearance interviews and initiation meetings
• Handle contracts (security protection agreements, cooperation and collaboration agreements)
• Administration in the form of processing register checks, contracts, etc.
• High level of contact with operations and suppliers (many contact points both internally and externally)
• Control and follow-up of the agency's security protection agreements and suppliers
• Train and guide operations within security protection
• Contribute to the further development of operations, processes, and system support
• Support operations with special security protection assessments as needed

Development opportunities

• Many contact points internally at the agency, with our suppliers, and externally with other agencies
• Opportunities to further develop within the security area both within the unit and through close collaboration with knowledgeable colleagues with different special competencies and backgrounds
• Deepen competence within the framework of security clearance interviews and special security protection assessments

The Supplier Security Unit belongs to the Security and Preparedness Department and currently consists of two teams with a total of 10 employees and a unit manager. The group is a mix of permanent employees and consultants with different backgrounds and competencies, creating a dynamic and developmental work environment.

About you

Requirements:

Furthermore, you have:

• Post-secondary education from university/college/university college within areas such as security, political science, human resources, or equivalent work experience that the employer deems relevant
• 2 years of experience in case processing
• Experience working with extensive external contacts, both verbally and in writing
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience working in various case management systems
• 2 years of experience conducting security clearance interviews or other types of structured conversations/interviews
• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good proficiency in English, both spoken and written

It is meritorious if you have knowledge and experience of:

• Security protection agreements, including work with control and follow-up
• Experience working with security protection
• Experience working in the public sector
• Language skills in addition to Swedish and English
• Experience working with business development
• Experience leading projects
• Experience leading employees without personnel responsibility
