We are now looking for a dental hygienist who wants to make a difference

Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folk Dental Care Karlsborg, you will meet patients of all ages with various care needs. As a dental hygienist with us, you play a key role in ensuring that patients feel well-received and safe during their visit. You will utilize your full range of skills, and the role also requires creativity, empathy, and a service-oriented mindset.

The position includes, among other things:

• Being a vital part of the clinic's health-promoting and preventive dental care for all ages
• Conducting own examinations, as well as identifying, assessing, and planning appropriate oral health care interventions
• Outreach dental care at nursing homes

Competency requirements and profile

• Licensed dental hygienist
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or Swedish C1 in both speech and writing
• Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently and wisely
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
• Ability to collaborate and relate to other people in a listening manner
• Contribute to the development of the business by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually designed mentoring program during the first year. The mentoring is part of our development program, which also includes networking meetings, team and communication training, and observation at a specialist or general dental clinic.

About the recruitment process

If you are not already employed by us, you will be contacted by recruiters from the HR unit for an interview. After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 25-26.

Folk Dental Care Västra Götaland Region conducts checks in suspicion and burden registers before employment.
