About Us

Närhälsan Sandared is a well-functioning health centre with 30 creative employees from various professional categories who together form a competent team. The commitment is high and the sense of well-being is great. The health centre is beautifully located by Viaredssjön, approximately 1.3 miles west of Borås city centre. Good connections are available by train or bus from both Gothenburg and Borås.

About the Job

Your duties at the health centre cover a broad field and include general medicine, where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work in a health-promoting, advisory, and treatment capacity in primary care, both via telephone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic.

The work involves both emergency and planned operations. You work largely independently with your own clinic where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients. Close collaboration takes place with your colleagues at the unit and cross-professionally in the team, as well as with other actors such as home care and other specialist care. Together with the health centre management, you are responsible for developing and driving the operations forward. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, so supervising students is also included as part of your role at the health centre.

About You

You are a registered nurse, preferably with specialist training as a district nurse. It is meritorious if you have experience from working in primary care and/or have a 7.5 ECTS supervisor education, but we also welcome newly graduated candidates.

We are looking for you who take initiative in your work and are confident in making your own decisions. You are meticulous, have good problem-solving skills, and can prioritize your tasks effectively.

In your work, you meet many patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. We also believe that you enjoy teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You can express yourself well both verbally and in writing, and are an engaged and good listener during both digital meetings and visits at the clinic. We would appreciate it if you had an interest in digitalization and operational development.

About the Recruitment Process

Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department who call current candidates for a telephone interview. Thereafter, the recruiting manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them to an interview at the health centre.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
