The position is located within the Health and Care Administration, which is one of eight administrations in Linköping Municipality. The Health and Care Administration is responsible for the municipality's elderly care, health and medical care, authority exercises, ordering of services, and provides care and support in its own operations. We work with quality awareness and professionalism to make every day as good as possible for the residents of Linköping who need us.

Your responsibilities

As an employee with us, you will be part of an engaged team working to improve the quality of life for our elderly in Tallboda. Here, we place great emphasis on the individual's needs and work with methods such as IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus) and a salutogenic approach.

The responsibilities include:

• Providing personal care such as personal hygiene, nursing care, and medical interventions
• Providing support and practical help in daily life
• Helping our elderly feel safe and well at home
• Documenting care and interventions in our journal system (Treserva)
• Serving as a dedicated care contact for one or more individuals
• Participating in welcome conversations and creating individual implementation plans and follow-ups
• Maintaining close contact with relatives and other collaborating parties

With us, you will work to provide good service, create nice relationships, and contribute to an increased quality of life for each individual. Your day may also consist of accompanying patients on medical visits, shopping, or going for a walk.

The positions refer to 3 permanent employment contracts with an employment rate of 100%. The working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and every other weekend.

Tallboda Home Care is a small, charming operation covering Tallboda and the surrounding area. The staff operates from our office on Gränsliden in Tallboda, and there are good bus connections from the travel center in Linköping.

You who apply

Do you have previous experience in care, support, and social services? Then you are the one we are looking for! In addition to this, we think it is good if you have a completed upper secondary education, preferably as a nursing assistant. Experience working in home care is seen as meritorious. We also see it as positive if you have previous experience with a salutogenic approach, low-affective handling, and IBIC.

In elderly care, our users are at the center. The tasks involve many customer contacts and documentation, which makes it important that you can express yourself well both orally and in writing in Swedish. You also need to be confident in using digital tools, and if you have experience documenting in journal systems, we see it as a plus. To be able to move between different customers, it is a requirement that you can cycle and/or have a B driving license.

At the same time, you enjoy collaborating and are good at communicating and building good relationships. Empathy is one of your strongest traits – you can put yourself in others' perspectives and act with understanding of their situation.
