We are now looking for experienced assistants for a child client in Hägersten!

About the position:

Working hours: Saturday and Sunday every other week.

Time: 11:00–19:45

Totaling 2 weekends per month.

About the child you will be working with:

Our clients are a charming and fun pair of twins who will soon turn 11. We are currently looking for experienced assistants for each of their assistant groups. This assignment offers you the opportunity to develop as an assistant by becoming their secure support system, helping them reach their full potential through various pedagogical methods.

The boys are twins, nearly 11 years old, and have autism, severe intellectual disability, and unspecified ADHD. They need guidance and diversion, which is where you as assistants come in. They require active help with all basic and personal needs. They do not have spoken language but communicate using pictures, certain sounds, and body language. Experience working with similar diagnoses is a requirement.

The boys attend a special school from 08:15–16:00 on weekdays, where the school provides the assistance.

Who we are looking for:

• You are over 20 years old.
• You have experience working with similar diagnoses.
• You work with clear pedagogy and a pedagogically guided environment.
• You have experience working with challenging children/adolescents.
• You are accustomed to working according to fixed routines.
• You are experienced in communicating with pictures and/or speech synthesis.
• You speak fluent Swedish.

Meritorious qualifications:

• Experience as a personal assistant with children with disabilities.
• Relevant education for the target group.

Documents proving the right to work in Sweden must be presented at any potential interview:

• A Swedish citizen is verified e.g., with a passport or a certificate of personal status from the Swedish Tax Agency.
• EU/EEA citizens also have the right to work in Sweden. Citizenship is verified e.g., with a passport or residence permit.
• Third-country nationals (outside EU/EEA) prove their right to work in Sweden with a decision from the Swedish Migration Agency, an UT-card (both front and back), or an LMA-card.
• As employers, we are not allowed to ask for documents proving the right to work in Sweden to be emailed to us.
