We are currently looking for a Financial Controller for a position within the public sector, focusing on auditing, follow-up, and control of grant-funded operations.

About the Role

In this role, you will work with financial controls and qualified auditing to ensure the correct handling of state grants and compliance with current regulations. The assignment involves analyzing, documenting, and reporting audit results, as well as maintaining dialogue with relevant operations.

The work also includes site visits to various organizations and requires a good understanding of accounting, financial management, and public sector operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial controls and audit activities
• Monitor grant-funded operations
• Analyze financial data and ensure regulatory compliance
• Document and report audit results
• Maintain dialogue with relevant operations and organizations
• Conduct site visits as part of the follow-up work

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience as an accountant/controller with a focus on auditing or revision
• Experience in auditing within the public sector, preferably municipal operations
• Good knowledge of accounting and financial management
• Ability to work independently, structured, and meticulously
• Strong analytical skills and experience in documenting and reporting results
