We work in cross-professional teams where general medicine, orthopedics, physiotherapy, and psychosocial support collaborate closely. The clinic has on-site radiology, specialist competence, and short decision-making paths, allowing us to offer cohesive care for the patient.

The Role

As an orthopedic specialist here, you work with outpatient care for patients aged 15 and older, primarily dealing with extremity injuries. You work closely with physiotherapists, nursing assistants, radiologic technologists, and resident doctors in a team where the patient is at the center.

Radiology is available directly on-site, and many patients receive treatment, follow-ups, and return visits with us. We have close collaboration with the orthopedic clinic at Akademiska Sjukhuset regarding patients who require further investigation or surgery.

You will also have the opportunity to:

• Supervise resident doctors
• Participate in developing working methods and processes
• Contribute to efficient and safe patient flows

The work is primarily during daytime hours, but some variation in working hours may occur as the facility is open every day of the year from 07:00 to 23:00.

Requirements

• Specialist physician in orthopedics
• Experience in outpatient care
• Good ability to work independently and in teams
