About the Client

The client is a 53-year-old woman living in Rinkeby (a few minutes from the subway and bus stops). She has several disabilities: Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (affecting the connective tissue throughout the body), balance disorders, paralysis, chronic pain, allergies, asthma, hearing impairment with tinnitus, Asperger's syndrome, and other conditions. However, she is capable of thinking, planning, and structuring her own life. The client has an ileostomy (abdominal pouch) and a suprapubic catheter (also known as cystostomy, cystofix, or SPK). Therefore, you should not have issues handling blood.

Job Responsibilities

The client needs assistance with various tasks, including help with cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene. Your main task is to help the client live as independently as possible despite her disabilities.
