About the Role

You will step into a comprehensive change initiative where several medical record systems and IT support within healthcare are being modernized to create a more accessible, efficient, and future-proof IT environment. In this role, you lead a project within imaging and functional diagnostics, focusing on coordinating the implementation, realization, and anchoring of solutions that meet the business's needs and work seamlessly with existing systems and services.

You work as the lead project manager in a complex healthcare environment with many stakeholders, high demands for structure, and clear governance. The role combines technical understanding, business-close collaboration, and leadership in an environment where correct execution has significant importance for how healthcare moves forward.

Responsibilities
  • You plan, manage, and drive the project from establishment to implementation and rollout.
  • You build the project organization with clear roles, responsibilities, and working methods.
  • You develop communication plans and create structure in the collaboration between operations, IT, and external parties.
  • You ensure that the solution is delivered according to the decided design and that development, configuration, and testing are carried out in a coordinated manner.
  • You lead steering group meetings, supplier meetings, and other work meetings, keeping the project sponsor and stakeholders updated on status and deviations.
  • You drive several parallel work streams and are responsible for risk management, stakeholder analysis, and financial follow-up.
  • You ensure that necessary training is planned and conducted prior to implementation.
  • You incorporate information and IT security into all parts of the project and translate business goals into concrete technical solutions.
Requirements
  • At least twelve (12) years of documented experience working as a technical project manager within regional healthcare.
  • At least eight (8) years of documented experience working as a technical project manager for imaging and functional medicine within regional healthcare.
  • Documented experience working as a project manager for the implementation of healthcare information systems within imaging and functional diagnostics in regional healthcare.
  • Documented experience working with the IT system Sectra RIS/PACS.
  • Documented experience working according to the governance model PM3.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Merits
