Job Description

A government agency is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to strengthen a team working on a business-critical case management system.

The team consists of approximately 10–15 people and is responsible for the operation, support, maintenance, and further development of the system. The solution is built on an established case management platform with extensive custom-developed components and integrations with several shared IT services. The focus is on ensuring high technical stability and carrying out prioritized further development.

The work is conducted according to agile principles within the framework of the organization's governance model.

We are looking for a person with good collaboration skills, decision-making ability, and a development- and results-oriented approach. You are analytical, structured, and have the ability to see both the big picture and the details. You actively contribute to change management, knowledge sharing, and the development of the team's working methods.

As a Scrum Master, you coach the delivery team, ensure delivery capability, and remove impediments to achieve set goals.

Responsibilities

• Coach and lead the team according to agile working methods.
• Facilitate meetings and remove impediments for deliveries.
• Follow up and report according to the organization's development process.
• Contribute to competence spreading and continuous improvements.
• Drive engagement in development and improvement work.
• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and stakeholders.
• Participate in planning, breakdown, and estimation.
• Handle incidents and support business-critical deliveries.

Required Qualifications

• At least 10 years of work experience as a Scrum Master/project manager with system development in an agile environment.
• At least 10 years of work experience working with Jira.
• At least 10 years of work experience leading distributed teams.
• At least 10 years of work experience with both Scrum and Kanban.
• At least 10 years of work experience leading teams working in parallel with new development and maintenance.
• At least 10 years of work experience managing business-critical systems.
• At least 10 years of work experience in web projects based on Angular and .NET.
• Work experience working with ServiceNow.
• Certified Scrum Master or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of work experience in workshop leadership and facilitation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience from larger organizations or the public sector.
• Experience with Microsoft-based development environments.
• Experience collaborating with external operation suppliers.
• Experience with ITSM- or ITIL-based working methods.
