Do you want to work in a central role where quality, structure, and analysis are in focus? We are now looking for an engaged Financial Controller to join KVD Group who wants to take a holistic approach to our closing processes and contribute to a strong and efficient finance function.

About the job

As a Financial Controller here, you are responsible for ensuring high quality in our financial reporting. You play a key role in the closing process and work actively to develop processes, routines, and internal controls. The role involves many contact points both internally and externally, where you function as an important partner to the business.

Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.
• Prepare annual accounts and annual reports for subsidiaries.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls according to current laws and standards.
• Participate in contact with auditors and support the audit process.
• Drive improvement initiatives within accounting and financial processes.

We are looking for you who:

• Have an academic education in economics/business administration.
• Have several years of experience in accounting and group accounting.
• Have extensive experience with monthly and annual closing.
• Have worked with internal control.
• Have experience with group accounting under IFRS.
• Experience with Business Central and Capego is a merit.

Personal qualities

To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you are analytical and have the ability to understand and interpret financial information in depth. You work in a structured manner and have a good ability to handle deadlines related to, for example, closing and reporting. Furthermore, you have a process-oriented way of working and enjoy developing clear routines and methods that strengthen internal control.

You are also communicative, pedagogical, and clear in how you convey financial information, and find it easy to collaborate with different parts of the business.

Other information

The position is a permanent employment that we start with a six-month probation period. We place great importance on personal suitability.
