About the position
As a nurse at Rynningeviken, you play a key role in creating a meaningful daily life for our residents. We work from a person-centered and rehabilitative approach, focusing on the wishes and needs of our residents. You will be working within one of our specializations: somatic illness or cognitive impairment. Here, you will become part of a team consisting of five nursing colleagues, including a coordinating nurse, occupational therapists, care staff, and the unit manager. We also collaborate with doctors and physiotherapists from the region. Collaboration is important to us, and we continuously work to create good team synergy.

Examples of tasks:
- decide on, implement, and follow up on care measures
- be responsible for supervision and training in nursing care
- instruct and delegate health and medical tasks to care staff
- maintain contact with and provide support to relatives
- document in various quality registers and operational systems
- participate in and drive continuous improvement and development of our operations
About the workplace
Rynningeviken is a special housing facility for the elderly, beautifully located near the Rynningeviken nature reserve. Our beautiful outdoor areas and activities are appreciated by both the staff and our residents. We have 54 places specializing in somatic care and cognitive impairment, distributed over three floors.
Our ambition is to be one of Örebro's leading care and nursing homes, so we are constantly working to develop and improve our operations and working methods.

As a nurse at Rynningeviken, you will be part of the Health and Medical Care Organization (HS). All nurses and occupational therapists in the municipality's special housing facilities work under the same organization so that we can create better conditions, equal care, and safeguard Örebro Municipality's health and medical care resources. For you as a nurse, this also means that you will have a manager who is fundamentally licensed and therefore well-versed in the issues you face in your work.

Qualifications
As a nurse, you are confident in yourself and have good self-awareness. You enjoy having your own areas of responsibility and take charge of your tasks in an independent and structured manner. Being receptive and accommodating in your interactions, both with colleagues and residents, is second nature to you. You are clear in your communication and have the ability to ensure that information gets through. Furthermore, you adapt easily to changing circumstances and see opportunities and solutions in what you are faced with. Additionally, you master the Swedish language to a level that allows you to communicate with residents and other staff, as well as document what the operation requires. Since the work involves digital documentation in operational systems, good computer skills are required.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Requirements:
- licensed nurse
- Class B driver's license
Merits:
- experience working in geriatrics
- advanced education in geriatrics
- experience working in one or more operational systems and quality registers, such as Lifecare, the Palliative Register, and Senior Alert, among others
Scope and start date
Employment type: Permanent position
Full-time equivalent: 100%
Start date: As agreed
Number of positions: 1
Working hours: Day, evening, and weekends. Currently, it is two weekends per twelve-week period.
