What does the job entail?
The days are varied with great opportunities to contribute to people's quality of life. You support, help with practical tasks, and provide service based on the customer's needs and wishes. The most important thing is that you enjoy building relationships and are good with people.
What background do I need?
For some, this might be a great chance to get a first summer job and gain experience alongside studies, while for others, it could be the opportunity for a long-term position. There is no one-size-fits-all answer – we recruit people who have a solution-focused attitude, empathetic values, and want to do their best for our customers.
So, does it not matter if I have relevant experience?
Yes, of course, we see it as positive if you have worked in healthcare/care and done well! Education as a nurse assistant or equivalent is also meritorious but not a requirement.
Isn't it very tough to work in home care?
It absolutely can be, and that is how development in healthcare and care generally looks. It was also one of the reasons we started in 2013, with the conviction that we can do things a little differently and constantly improve the operations with a focus on those we are there for – the elderly. And how do you do that? By taking care of your employees, of course. That is why it warms our hearts that we received an 8.5 out of 10 for being happy that they chose Aleva as their workplace instead of other alternatives, and a 9.5 out of 10 when asked if our customers would recommend us to a friend.
