Region Västerbotten's primary care provides broad primary healthcare services throughout Västerbotten County, meeting patients of all ages in both urban and rural areas. With 33 health centers and rural clinics, we are where you are. We actively engage in research and development and utilize medical results to offer high-quality care where the patient is involved. We want our employees to be involved, have influence, and feel proud to work in the region's primary care. Key areas for development are needs-adapted healthcare offerings and the development of digital services. We see great value in collaboration with other actors in society.

About the Workplace

Åliden Health Center is located on Tvistevägen near Åliden Center and Iksu. We have approximately 22,700 registered residents in a varied catchment area with a generally young population. The health center employs approximately 97 staff members, including the family center at Åliden Center and the paramedical clinic at Tvistevägen 48 in Tietohusen.

At our paramedical clinic, approximately 17 staff members work in professions such as psychologists, counselors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. Our workplace is characterized by an open work climate and joy in work; together, we create a wonderful atmosphere filled with laughter and openness. We value collaboration and work closely together in team-based patient care. Our employees possess extensive experience and knowledge, and there are opportunities for supervision both externally and internally. We are a continuously developing organization that enjoys finding new ways of working that benefit patients and employees.

About the Role

As a psychologist with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better. As a psychologist, you will be part of our psychosocial team, working alongside psychologist colleagues, psychiatric nurses, and counselors. You will work with children and adults with mild to moderate mental health issues, providing individual, group, or internet-based treatment. Together with your colleagues, you will contribute to developing work methods that promote health, patient safety, accessibility, and a good working environment. You will be part of a group that takes significant responsibility for its own working environment and its role in the health center's operations. You will contribute to good collaboration between psychologists and other professional groups regarding shared cases. In addition to internal peer supervision, the psychologist group has regular external supervision.

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist and have education in, and an interest in, working with CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) as a method. You who have graduated from the psychology program are also welcome to apply. Experience and a genuine interest in working with child and adolescent cases are meritorious; we handle these in the psychosocial team through collaboration with other agencies, psychological treatment, and parental support. We preferably seek candidates with experience in assessing and treating adults, as well as conducting group and internet-based treatments within the framework of primary care. Experience working within primary care is meritorious, as it implies an understanding of the flow, working methods, and pace required for psychologists in primary care.
